We know that people choose to play instruments to have fun and make great music with their instrument. Music that they themselves think is great. They want to play, perform and feel music. They want it all to be fun, rewarding, and exciting. We want that for them too and HBSM is the perfect place to ensure that it happens. Having as much fun as possible getting the most out of music, while learning to be proficient at your instrument at the same time. We want our students to continue to play music as a pastime! For most it isn't about doing music for a career, it is about enjoyment and fun.

All you need to bring is your instrument. You are also encouraged to bring any music you enjoy or would like to explore.

Prices depends on lesson duration and how often they are. Tuition is due by the 10th of the month for 4 or 5 lessons depending on the number of weeks in the month. If you register after the first, the prorated amount for the remaining weeks is due upon the first lesson. The following month you will be placed on the monthly billing cycle. Please visit our Rates page for all the specifics.

We recommend weekly lessons for most students.

Students who would like to accelerate their progress, are welcome to do multiple lessons per week.

We recommend 60 minute lessons for most adults and teenagers, 15 minute lessons for the very young with short attention span. 30/45 minute lessons are typically for those in-between.

We require at least 24 hours notice to reschedule lessons. Please be as consistent as possible with attendance, since you are reserving a place in your teacher’s calendar that is unavailable to other students.

Please inform the school (not only the teacher) by sending us an email at contact@hbschoolofmusic.com or giving us a ring/sms at 657-215-1267. For more details, please visit our policies page.

We are not a rental shop. However we want all of our students to be able to learn on the best instrument available for a given budget, so we have created a special rental program which we believe will provide students better quality instruments at comparable prices to instrument rental shops. This rental arrangement is available only to students of the school. Please check our rental options.
