Biography
Lora Bashmakian is a Southern California based singer and pianist. She recently competed in The Metropolitan Opera Competition, receiving an encouragement award as an LA District Finalist. She has performed in masterclasses led by Angel Blue, Michelle Breedt, and Sara Jakubiak, and has attended a summer program in Trossingen, Germany, studying German Lieder. She has also competed in NATS receiving first place in her district, and was a semifinalist in their National Student Auditions. She enjoys teaching vocal students of all levels and genres.
Lora's piano journey started at the age of four, and has over 15 years of playing experience. She is a dedicated teacher who enjoys working with students of all levels, helping them develop their skills and reach their full potential.
