Biography

Kwesi “Kue” Thomas Bio
Canadian musician, commercial writer, arranger, and, producer Kwesi
“Kue” Thomas graduated from the Jazz Studies program at Humber College,
then moved to Boston as a scholarship recipient at Berklee College of Music in
Boston.
Graduating from Berklee with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production,
Kue split his time between New England and New York music directing and
composing for Off-Broadway shows and various performing artists and bands
including “Beanie Man” and “Amanda Brown” (The Voice), “The Princess and
the Golden Yam”, “Nineteen Secrets”, “Painted Red”(Sacred Ground
Productions) and Carnival Cruise Lines.
Kue continues work as commercial arranger and composer for Qstatus Music
Services, playback engineer for Precision Playback (Kenny Lattimore) and
copyist/orchestrator/arranger for the GOBO Music Agency (Whitney Houston,
Meghan Trainor, Miguel, Abbi Ann).

Years Teaching: Kue brings over 30years of teaching, directing and mentoring experience in various forms including classroom teacher of record and ensemble director at the middle and high school level. In the individual and small group lesson space, Kue brings extreme versatility with expertise for all ages from Kindergarten to retiree.
